REPORTS TO
Maintenance/Grounds Team Supervisor, Campground Manager

Position Summary

Responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the campground buildings, facilities, equipment, and grounds. Job runs from May 1, 2025 to October 15, 2025.

Specific Duties

1. Perform basic carpentry, electrical, and plumbing repairs, and maintenance to campground buildings, facilities, equipment, and grounds as directed by the Campground Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor, or the owner(s).
2. Implement daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and cleaning programs, including pool/spa, lawn mowing, weed eating, landscaping, garbage pick-up, propane pumping, game machine, laundry servicing, and other campground equipment upkeep.
3. Comply with all KOA, federal, state, and local safety programs by adhering to established guidelines in the operation and storage of equipment, tools, and chemicals.
4. Provide excellent customer service by being attentive, responsive, and helpful to guests' needs. Report all customer problems, requests, or complaints to the Campground Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor, or the owner(s).

Qualifications

1. Intermediate knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.
2. Intermediate understanding of chemical handling and usage.
3. Intermediate knowledge of propane and gasoline dispensing.
4. Valid Driver's License.
5. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

1. Lift up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and carry 25 pounds.
2. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 10 pounds without assistance.
3. Stand for long periods.
4. Bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb.
5. Operate loud and vibrating maintenance tools and equipment.
6. Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects.
7. Travel by auto as needed.
8. Work indoors and outdoors in various climates.
9. Move safely over uneven terrain.

Desired Skills (Not Required)

• Beginner skills in Mechanical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Electrical, Landscaping, Pool Maintenance.

Salary: $12 - $14 per hour
