Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Union Helper at the 1001 S State, Chicago location to maintain the community’s grounds, amenities and curb appeal while supporting the service team. The role emphasizes daily cleaning, market-ready vacant homes, make-ready support, and vigilant safety practices.

You will work onsite, demonstrate strong customer service, and contribute to a safe, well-maintained living environment for residents, with attention to detail and responsiveness to requests.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates customer service skills by treating residents with respect and responding to questions.
• Adheres to safety policies and reports hazards promptly.
• Maintains cleanliness and order across common areas and units.

Responsibilities

• Cleans leasing office, clubhouse and common-area restrooms, models, amenities daily.
• Ensures vacant homes and show units are market-ready throughout the day.
• Assists in the make-ready process and turns as directed by supervisors.
• Inspects the community for litter, debris, and hazards and keeps areas neat.
• Completes routine service requests and supports the make-ready team.
