Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. in Springdale, AR is seeking a Maintenance Generalist to help launch a new facility. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production equipment and facility systems, supporting safe and efficient operations on the 2nd shift.

Qualifications

1 year of industrial maintenance experience (or related).
Relocation assistance not available for this role.
Candidates who previously worked for Tyson Foods or affiliates 3+ times are not eligible for rehire.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and safety maintenance across plant operations.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production equipment, facility systems, and assets.
Diagnose mechanical malfunctions with minimal supervision.
Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations.
Complete preventive maintenance activities according to schedules.
Document repairs, maintenance activities, and corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with Tyson safety policies including Lockout/Tagout and Confined Space procedures.
Assist team members and support startup of the new facility.
