Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a dependable maintenance technician responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing plant equipment to keep production running smoothly. You will work on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, perform routine preventive maintenance, and support production on shift.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of mechanical work experience or completed an industrial maintenance program, and hold Lockout Tagout certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months mechanical work experience or graduate of industrial maintenance program.
• Lock Out Tag Out certification required.
• Ability to push/pull and lift up to 75 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Minimize downtime and support production during shifts.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and accurate record keeping.
