Job summary

Tyson Foods in Arkansas is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance on plant equipment and assist production with equipment issues. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, minimize downtime, and maintain a clean work area.

The role requires physical stamina and adherence to safety protocols. Applicants should have at least 1 year of mechanical experience or completion of an industrial maintenance program; LOTO

Qualifications

• Must have Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) certification.
• Minimum 1 year mechanical work experience or completion of an industrial maintenance training program.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift heavy weights; stand for long periods.
• Solid basic math skills for percentages, fractions and measurements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly during shift
• Ability to push, pull and lift up to 75 pounds occasionally
• Ability to stand on hard surface for up to 12 hours per day
• Repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, and gripping
• Frequent overhead work
• Basic Math skills: percentages, fractions, and measurements
• Position will require Lock Out Tag Out certification
• Must have a minimum 1 year mechanical work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 1-year)
