This position reports to the Associate Director of Maintenance for the maintenance, repair and regulatory compliance of District buildings and grounds. The position is responsible for ensuring that students, staff and the community have facilities that are safe and well maintained.
Generally, the job requires 40% sitting, 30% walking, and 30% standing. The job is performed indoors under minimal temperature variations and outdoors under temperature variations consistent with the region, and in a generally hazard free environment. The usual and customary methods of performing the functions of this job require the following physical demands:
Frequent reaching, handling, fingering and/or feeling
Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling.
Frequent climbing and balancing
Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching and/or crawling.
