Job summary

Pair Eyewear in Irvine, CA is seeking a Maintenance & Facilities Technician to support our prescription eyewear manufacturing operation on 1st and 2nd shifts. You will maintain safety standards, perform preventive maintenance, and assist in repairs to minimize downtime.

You will work with Production, Quality, and other teams, follow SOPs, manage parts and equipment status, and help with training. The role requires a High School Diploma and 1–2+ years in maintenance, plus basic electrical safety

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of experience in Technician/Maintenance roles.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Good computer knowledge/skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work multiple shift schedules including holidays and weekends.
• Clean driving record and reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Health and Safety standards and PPE usage.
• Follow OSHA regulations while performing maintenance.
• Assist in training Operator associates when needed.
• Support Rx-Lab production teams to reduce downtime by repairing equipment and performing preventive maintenance.
• Aid in implementing SOPs for efficient processes.
• Provide updates to Maintenance Leadership and identify potential issues.
• Troubleshoot production equipment errors and adjust workflow as needed.
• Communicate machine status to other department leaders to align workloads.
• Interact with Production Leadership, Quality, and other groups to keep operations smooth.
• Prioritize Preventive Maintenance and Repairs daily; escalate delays to Maintenance Leadership.
• Perform parts audits, place and receive orders, and manage replenishment parts.
• Provide project support across departments and maintain cross-functional relationships.
