Job summary

Radiac Abrasives, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance and Facilities Supervisor to lead the Salem facility's maintenance team, ensuring safe, reliable operation of plant equipment, and driving continuous improvement.

The role partners with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Safety to maximize uptime, develop preventive maintenance, and manage capital projects and budgeting. Strong leadership and CMMS/PLC experience are valued.

Qualifications

Minimum of 7–10 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
Minimum of 2 years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and automation systems.
Experience troubleshooting CNC equipment, hydraulic presses, ovens, kilns, and manufacturing equipment.
Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects while maintaining production support.

Responsibilities

Lead a maintenance team to maximize equipment uptime and support operational excellence.
Plan, prioritize, and assign daily maintenance activities based on production needs.
Develop and monitor KPIs (uptime, PM completion, MTBF, MTTR, backlog, cost).
Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
Drive Lean, 5S, TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure safety, compliance, and documentation (CMMS).
