Spherion Gainesville, FL is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with hands‑on skills in preventative maintenance and repairing mechanical, electrical and facility systems. The ideal candidate is a reliable team player who responds quickly to maintenance needs, follows safety procedures, and enjoys keeping equipment and work areas running smoothly!

This temporary-to-hire role is located in Alachua County, Florida with a schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and a pay rate of $18.00‑$20.00

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• 1-4 years of related professional work experience is a plus
• Able to work in a manufacturing production environment and occasional outdoor work may be required in all weather conditions

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, or plumbing issues.

Position Details

Position: Temporary to Hire

Location: Alachua County, Florida

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00/hr

Responsibilities

• - Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, or plumbing issues.
• - Install, assemble, or repair furniture, fixtures, and appliances.

Operations & Safety

• - Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls.
• - Maintain cleanliness and organization.
• - Collaborate with vendors and contractors.

Working Hours

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Skills

• - Employee must frequently lift and move over 50 pounds.
