Spherion Staffing is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians for direct-hire roles with our manufacturing partners in Lake Crystal and Mankato, MN. The positions involve high-speed production equipment maintenance, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and robotic systems.

Mankato, MN offers $26.00+ per hour with 2nd shift (Mon-Thu 3:30 PM–2:00 AM); Lake Crystal offers $25–$32 per hour with weekend shift (Fri–Sun, 5:00 AM–5:00 PM).

Qualifications

• Experience with complex mechanical, hydraulic, and robotic maintenance within a high-volume manufacturing facility.
• Skilled at efficiently diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment to minimize downtime.
• Proficiency with interpreting schematics and blueprints.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with PLCs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production machinery, including relays, motors, sensors, and circuits.
• Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Repair or replace electrical components such as transformers, switches, and lighting.
• Fabricate parts using metalworking tools (lathe, drill press, grinder).
• Assist in setup, leveling, and commissioning of new machinery and robotics.
• Maintain logs of work orders, parts inventory, and machine status using CMMS.
• Ensure equipment operates in OSHA-compliant manner.

Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician looking for a Direct Hire opportunity with a stable schedule? Spherion Staffing is seeking experienced maintenance professionals to join our manufacturing partners in Lake Crystal and Mankato, MN.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be a key contributor to operational success, ensuring that high-speed production equipment operates at peak efficiency. If you have hands‑on experience in industrial maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance, we want to hear from you!

Mankato, MN - $26.00+ per hour
2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 3:30 p.m. - 2:00 a.m.

Lake Crystal, MN - $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
Weekend Shift: Friday - Sunday | 5:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose malfunctions in production machinery, including relays, motors, position sensors, and circuit boards.
• Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine and emergency maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
• Electrical Maintenance: Repair or replace electrical components such as transformers, switches, and lighting fixtures.
• Fabrication: Use metalworking tools (lathe, drill press, grinder) to repair broken parts or fabricate custom solutions.
• Equipment Commissioning: Assist in the setup, leveling, and commissioning of new machinery and robotic equipment.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of work orders, parts inventory, and machine status using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all equipment operates in compliance with OSHA standards and company quality protocols.
