Job summary

The Hillman Group seeks an experienced MGR, Manufacturing Maintenance to lead maintenance operations, troubleshoot equipment issues, coordinate repairs, and support preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

The role develops the maintenance team, improves equipment reliability, partners with production and engineering on process improvements, complies with safety standards, and drives lean and reliability initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, operations, or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, or related experience.
• 2+ years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies aligned with business goals.
• Oversee supervisors and maintenance teams across shifts or facilities.
• Monitor KPIs such as downtime, MTBF, MTTR, and maintenance costs.
• Manage budgets, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Lead preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs.
• Oversee capital projects, equipment upgrades, and installations.
• Partner with engineering and operations on process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, reliability engineering).
• Manage vendor relationships and external service providers.
• Develop leadership capability and succession plans.
• Resolve high-impact equipment and operational issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
