Job summary

Itape is seeking a Maintenance Equipment Technician D to join our Maintenance department in Corona, CA. This non-exempt hourly role supports multi-faceted manufacturing, performing maintenance on a wide range of equipment and systems.

The candidate must communicate clearly, work well in a team, and drive improvements. Essential skills include pneumatic, hydraulic, drive, and PLC troubleshooting; Allen Bradley PLC software proficiency; and the ability to inspect, measure, and repair components.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 5 years related industrial maintenance experience, or Associate's degree with 3 years related industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, and drive systems; AC/DC drives and industrial controls required.
• Proficiency in using Allen Bradley PLC software and Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows safety rules and participates in the Safety Participation Program.
• Keeps machinery running by performing preventive maintenance on gear reducers, conveyors, bearings, and production machines.
• Locates problems by observing equipment in operation and using precision measuring instruments.
• Removes defective parts using hoists, cranes, and hand tools; inspects parts with calipers and micrometers.
• Maintains downtime by guiding preventive maintenance and compliance with procedures.
• Fabricates repair parts using machine shop equipment; maintains clean, safe work environment.
