Job summary
Orica is seeking a Manager - Maintenance Engineering at our Winnemucca, NV site to lead maintenance and asset management for the cyanide facility. You will drive reliability, safety, and cost-effective operations, reporting to the Site Manager and collaborating with Operations, SHES and Capital Projects teams.
The role requires 10+ years in industrial maintenance with leadership experience, and expertise in CMMS/SAP, process safety, and continuous improvement to enhance equipment availability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Reliability Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience in chemical processing, manufacturing, mining, or continuous-process environments.
- Proven success in improving asset reliability and controlling maintenance costs.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary maintenance teams.
Responsibilities
- Champion Zero Harm culture and safety leadership across the site.
- Develop and execute site-wide maintenance and asset reliability strategies.
- Plan, schedule, and execute maintenance to maximize plant availability.
- Lead a multidisciplinary maintenance team and mentor staff.
- Identify cost-saving improvements and manage maintenance budgets.
