Job summary

Careermine in Carlin, NV is seeking a Manager, Maintenance Engineering to lead the engineering, reliability, and planning teams across two roaster facilities, autoclave, concentrator, and heap leach CIC plants. The role partners with Plant Managers to improve asset performance, safety, and process safety programs.

The position oversees life-of-mmine sustaining capital plans, budgets, and project prioritization, while ensuring quality in-house technical expertise and regulatory compliance across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• 7–10 years of progressive operational/management roles; 5+ years in Process operations required.
• Mining experience at similar scale preferred.
• Proven success leading a culture of process safety required.
• Ability to set aggressive safety, productivity, and cost targets.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent reporting to all levels; change management experience.
• Some travel and extended hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering, reliability, and planning teams for Carlin facilities.
• Oversee maintenance planning, OT, and process control across plants.
• Govern maintenance systems and drive operational excellence.
• Develop Life of Mine sustaining capital plans and budgets.
• Ensure compliance, asset integrity, and safety programs.
• Interface with Capital Projects on large projects.
• Coach and develop managers and maintenance staff.
• Drive risk management and incident reduction initiatives.
