Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the maintenance/machinists and engineering team.
- Develop, implement, and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all manufacturing equipment.
- Coordinate and supervise corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure rapid response to equipment failures.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to support manufacturing operations and process improvements.
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and deliver training programs for maintenance staff on new equipment, technologies, and safety protocols.
- Lead projects focused on equipment upgrades, installations, and plant expansions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the maintenance department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration is preferred.
- 7+ years of combined experience in manufacturing maintenance and engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, reliability engineering, and equipment troubleshooting. Professional certifications such as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams.
- Working knowledge of Lean concepts and other continuous improvement methodologies.

Salary range: $95,600 - $153,900 per year.
