Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Hodges, SC to support maintenance strategies for production, utilities, and facilities equipment. The role focuses on safety, planning, staffing, preventive and corrective maintenance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BE/BS in Engineering is required.
• 3-5 years of production/operation management experience.
• Proficiency with MS Excel.

Responsabilités

• Assisting the Maintenance Manager in developing a plant maintenance strategy aligned with operational excellence initiatives.
• Calculate and communicate maintenance-related KPIs defined by FP&R standards.
• Support a structured PM program using SAP PM/EAM to reduce downtime and unexpected breakdowns.
• Manage maintenance team schedules, technician staffing levels, performance and development plans.
• Support partnerships between maintenance and operations to foster a customer/provider relationship.
• Assist in GMP, Calibration and EOHS plant initiatives.
• Assist in developing and managing the plant maintenance budget and preventive maintenance programs.
• Perform inspections before/after maintenance of machinery and components.
• Ensure maintainability of new installations via SAP PM/EAM maintenance strategies.
• Develop and implement predictive maintenance programs (vibration/oil analysis) and IoT systems.
• Implement CI projects to reduce UPDT and improve asset utilization and cost efficiency.
• Provide technical advice to production/maintenance teams for breakdowns and reliability.
