DecoPac, Inc. in Fife, WA is seeking a Maintenance Engineer I to check, repair and service machinery, equipment, systems and infrastructures, ensuring that industrial equipment runs smoothly and reliably, including preventative maintenance.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The role involves setting up production equipment, calibrating, keeping production logs, reporting to shift supervisors, and upholding health, safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in a food production environment preferred.
• Machine shop safety knowledge.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• General plumbing and building repair experience.
• Industrial electrical work: motor controls.

Responsabilités

• Set up production equipment per GMP and SOPs.
• Assist engineers in prototyping and testing.
• Calibrate equipment to ensure quality production with precision tools.
• Keep production logs and provide shift reports.
• Ensure safety equipment functions and comply with health and safety policies.
• Identify safety issues and prioritize maintenance projects.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
