Job summary

Universal Ingredients is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in Grandview, WA to handle maintenance of plant equipment and systems. You will troubleshoot and repair pumps, gears, conveyors, and hydraulics, ensuring rapid return to operations.

Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills plus experience with CMMS are preferred. Role includes reading manuals, collaborating with the maintenance team, and following lockout/tagout procedures to keep a safe workplace.

Qualifications

• Shop experience including welding, MIG/TIG sanitary, fabrication.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair abilities.
• Ability to read equipment manuals, schematics and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and coordinate maintenance work orders with the team.
• Interpret manuals and diagrams to perform required maintenance.
• Perform root cause analysis to improve equipment performance.
• Use hand and power tools, meters, and material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping and quality checks in the plant.
