Job summary

OrePac Building Products is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain machines, equipment, and facilities across the Spokane location. You will perform daily and preventive maintenance, set up equipment per blueprints, and coordinate with management on upgrades and safety compliance.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and the ability to operate forklifts and power tools as part of a labor-intensive, fast-paced environment. Overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and technical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications, manuals, electrical schematics, and blueprints.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Knowledge of PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Adherence to safety policies, PPE requirements, and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform daily and preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities.
• Set up machines per technical instructions and blueprints; move machines when required.
• Oversee preventive maintenance tasks and log activities for tracking.
• Manage building and grounds safety and coordinate with vendors.
• Support equipment upgrades and contract renewals with management.
