Job summary

DecoPac, Inc. is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to ensure reliability of machinery, equipment, and systems in a food production environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and repairs to support continuous production.

You will work Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and may be required to cover graveyard or weekend hours. The role involves reading blueprints, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical work, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

2-3 years of relevant experience in a food production environment.
Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
Familiarity with safety procedures and lockout/tagout.
Must have a valid driver''s license.
Willingness to work graveyard and weekend hours if needed.

Responsibilities

Set up production equipment in accordance with GMP and SOPs.
Calibrate or adjust equipment to ensure quality production using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other tools.
Keep production logs and provide progress or changeover reports to shift supervisors.
Set up and verify the functionality of safety equipment; start up and shut down processing equipment.
Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations; perform routine maintenance and inspections.
Duties may involve piping, welding, machining, and repairing electrical or mechanical equipment.
Order parts and supplies as needed; maintain a clean and safe work environment.
