Job summary
La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club, Inc. in San Diego seeks a versatile Maintenance Technician to service and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and related systems across guest rooms and public areas.
You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to emergencies, and ensure safety standards, with opportunities to contribute to energy conservation and guest satisfaction. Candidates should have an AA or higher or equivalent and be able to read and follow instructions; a California driver's license
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals and instructions.
- Must have a valid California Driver’s License.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintenance of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and related equipment to high standards.
- Conduct preventative maintenance duties including belts, coils and cooling systems.
- Maintain and service building electrical systems and lighting.
- Respond to equipment faults and emergencies promptly and safely.
- Operate tools and carry out repairs with documented standards.
- Ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean, safe and functional.
- Report emergencies to Engineering Director and follow safety protocols.
