Job summary

Sage Hospitality Group seeks a Maintenance Engineer for Indigo Raleigh in North Carolina. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hotel systems and equipment, respond to guest requests, and ensure safety and smooth operations across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler, and related areas.

Responsibilities include rounds, log maintenance, emergencies handling, and documenting repairs. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with at least 6 months in a similar role;

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing equipment maintenance and repair.
• Ability to drive a pickup truck and operate basic equipment.
• Maintain logs/records and perform preventive maintenance.
• Demonstrate professional presentation and teamwork while making independent decisions.

Responsibilities

• Carry a portable radio and respond to engineering service calls, prioritizing guest requests.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment (kitchen, laundry, boiler, plumbing, pool, HVAC, electrical, rooms).
• Respond to emergencies and power issues, report unsafe conditions, and document parts used.
• Make rounds, complete work orders, take readings, and maintain maintenance logs for the next shift.
• Handle elevator issues and maintain the Rooms Preventive Maintenance Program.
