Job summary

Hilton is seeking a Chief Engineer in Raleigh, NC to manage hotel maintenance including mechanicals, electrical, plumbing, FF&E, and information systems. You will provide exceptional service to guests and team members while maintaining efficient systems and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining a preventive maintenance program, coordinating inspections, managing budgets, and guiding engineering staff to support hotel operations and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 6–12 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read & write in English and communicate with guests tactfully.

Responsibilities

• Seek opportunities to exceed guest and team member expectations.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedule daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
• Maintain filing systems for preventive maintenance tasks and inspections.
• Follow safety protocols (NC OSHA) and manage inventory and budget controls.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors, and train engineering staff.
