Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic, experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The role involves overseeing property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms while performing preventative maintenance and promptly responding to maintenance orders.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in hotel maintenance with HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge, plus strong communication and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong time management and guest-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms
• Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations
• Paints, replaces electrical accessories, maintains HVAC
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs
• Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner
• Fulfills work orders in a timely manner
• Completed daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems
• Perform various other duties as assigned
