Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The Maintenance Engineer will oversee grounds, public areas and guest rooms, performing preventive maintenance and repairs to HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry systems to ensure flawless operations.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in hotel maintenance, with HVAC, plumbing and electrical knowledge, and strong communication and time management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in hotel maintenance; HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry knowledge preferred.
• Trade school or college in mechanical/electrical/technical disciplines is a plus.
• Strong communication and time-management skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees property grounds, public areas and guest rooms.
• Performs preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
• Paints, replaces electrical components, and maintains HVAC systems.
• Checks fixtures, lighting, and signs; maintains spare parts stock.
• Responds to maintenance orders promptly and completes work orders.
• Conducts daily rounds and reports problems.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
