Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic, hands-on Maintenance Engineer to join our team. You will oversee the property grounds, public areas and guest rooms, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry systems operate safely and efficiently.

You should have at least two years in hotel maintenance, knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems, good math, communication skills, and the ability to manage time effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in a hotel maintenance position preferred.
• One year of college or trade school in mechanical/electrical/technical disciplines preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms.
• Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations.
• Repairs and maintains HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing and carpentry tasks.
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain spare parts and bulbs.
• Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner.
• Fulfills work orders promptly and completes daily rounds, reporting issues.
