Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Angad Arts Hotel St Louis. The role oversees property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms, performing preventative maintenance and responding to maintenance orders.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in hotel maintenance, HVAC/plumbing/electrical knowledge, and is able to lift up to 50 pounds. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in a hotel maintenance position
• One year of college or trade school in mechanical, electrical, or technical disciplines
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry

Responsibilities

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms
• Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs
• Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner
• Fulfills work orders in a timely manner
• Completed daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems
• Perform various other duties as assigned
