Schulte Hospitality Group seeks an energetic Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The role covers overseeing the property’s grounds, public areas and guest rooms, and performing preventative maintenance on hotel systems to ensure guest comfort.

Ideal candidates will have HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge, strong math, communication and time-management skills, and a willingness to contribute to a high-service hospitality culture.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge.
• Basic math, communication and time management skills.
• Experience in hotel maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees property grounds, public areas and guest rooms.
• Performs preventative maintenance to prevent equipment breakdowns.
• Paints, replaces electrical components, maintains HVAC.
• Checks fixtures, lighting and signs for proper operation; maintains spare parts inventory.
• Responds to maintenance orders promptly and fulfills work orders.
• Completes daily rounds and identifies/report problems.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
