Job summary

The Post Oak in Galveston, TX is seeking an Engineer to perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance to keep building systems operating efficiently and in line with property policies and procedures.

You will assist other trades, participate in on-call shifts for emergencies, holidays and weekends, and contribute to a positive, diverse work environment with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Related degree or accredited certifications preferred.
• Minimum two years experience.
• Knowledge of carpentry, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, hazardous chemicals, general and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for all maintenance and repairs of the facility.
• Knowledgeable in all aspects of Hotel Operations Maintenance.

The Engineer is responsible for performing routine repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.
