Job summary

Healthcare Realty Trust is recruiting an experienced full-time on-site Maintenance Engineer for medical office buildings in Dallas. The role requires at least five years in facilities maintenance, with knowledge of Building Automation Systems, electrical, HVAC, and life-safety systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in facilities maintenance.
• Thorough understanding of Building Automation Systems, electrical systems, HVAC, life safety, and plumbing.
• Able to read blueprints and follow electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and email/work order tools.
• Excellent organization, verbal and written communication, and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and building upkeep tasks as required.
• Conduct emergency and preventive maintenance in a timely manner.
• Complete maintenance and repair records and work orders accurately.
• Read and interpret blueprints to guide installations and repairs.
• Take ownership of tasks, stay flexible, and maintain a positive, welcoming impression.
• On-call approximately every five weeks; travel within the Dallas metropolitan area to buildings as needed.

Completes maintenance and repair records as required. Completes assigned work orders in a timely manner.Basic skills with Microsoft Office. Uses personal computer and smart phone for work order system and email.Position requires excellent organization, verbal, written and multi-tasking skills. Must be able to read blueprints.Takes ownership of work, is flexible, and focuses on creating a positive and welcoming impression.Must be self-sufficient, team player.
