Job summary

Healthcare Realty Trust is seeking an experienced on-site Maintenance Engineer for medical office buildings in Frisco/Plano. The role covers repairs, preventive maintenance, and keeping building systems running smoothly for tenants and staff.

Requires five or more years in facilities maintenance, with familiarity of Building Automation Systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems. Proficiency in reading blueprints and MS Office, ability to lift 50 pounds, and availability for

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of facilities maintenance experience with BAS, electrical, HVAC and life-safety systems.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and completing work orders in a timely manner.
• Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills; able to use MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Complete maintenance and repair records; process work orders promptly.
• Support life-safety systems, electrical, plumbing and HVAC and on-call rotation.
• Coordinate with multiple buildings within the Plano/Frisco area.

We offer excellent benefits including health, dental, 401(k).Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer including Minorities/Women/Veterans/DisabilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMinimum of Five (5) years' experience in facilities maintenance with thorough understanding of Building Automation Systems, electrical systems, controls, condensing boilers, package rooftop HVAC, variable air volume systems, chemical treatment, emergency generation equipment, plumbing, transfer switches and life safety systems.Performs assigned repairs; building upkeep duties as needed (periodic pressure washing and leaf blowing as needed); emergency and preventive maintenance in a timely manner. Completes maintenance and repair records as required. Completes assigned work orders in a timely manner.Basic skills with Microsoft Office. Uses personal computer and smart phone for work order system and email.Position requires excellent organization, verbal, written and multi-tasking skills. Must be able to read blueprints.Takes ownership of work, is flexible, and focuses on creating a positive and welcoming impression.Must be self-sufficient, team player. Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders.On-call approximately every five weeks, travel to buildings within Plano / Frisco metropolitan area.
