Job summary

Healthcare Realty Trust, on-site Maintenance Engineer for medical office buildings in Greenwich and Lower Fairfield County, requires working knowledge of building automation, electrical systems and HVAC. Five years of facilities maintenance experience and ability to read blueprints are essential.

Licensure or trade certification is a plus; MS Office proficiency and timely maintenance record-keeping are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in facilities maintenance with thorough understanding of BAS, electrical systems, controls, boilers, rooftop HVAC, VAV, life safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and building upkeep duties; completes maintenance and repair records as required.
• Completes assigned work orders in a timely manner.

Completes maintenance and repair records as required. Completes assigned work orders in a timely manner.Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office. Uses personal computer and smart phone apps for work order system and email.Position requires excellent organization, verbal, written and multi-tasking skills. Must be able to read blueprints.Takes ownership of work, is flexible, and focuses on creating a positive and welcoming impression.Must be self-sufficient, team player. Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders.On-call rotation for the lower Fairfield County area.
