Job summary

Oldcastle APG is hiring a Maintenance Electrician in Stockton, CA. The role centers on maintaining and repairing production equipment, electrical components, and related systems. You will read blueprints, use CMMS, and ensure safety and reliability of machinery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety procedures and maintenance instructions.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and electrical principles.
• Able to work in dusty, hot, and/or cold conditions and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Replace, install, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and electrical components.
• Install power supply wiring and conduit for new machines and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective actions.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to optimize machine performance.
• Operate Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, and fluid levels; replace filters and worn parts.
• Dismantle equipment to access and replace defective parts; use hoists and hand/power tools.
• Lubricate and clean parts for proper operation; follow blueprints and manuals.
• Review schematics and parts catalogs to source components.
• Operate tools to repair, grease, weld, and replace parts as assigned.
