Job summary

Stanley Engineered Fastening LLC in Decorah, IA is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for 1st shift (7:00am - 3:00pm). You will install, maintain, and repair manufacturing electrical systems to minimize downtime and keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent, a 2-year Industrial Electrician degree or equivalent, and a Journeyman license. PLC programming and variable speed drive experience are preferred; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
2-year Industrial Electrician Technical degree or equivalent experience.
Journeyman’s license.
AC/DC motor control installation and troubleshooting.
Mechanical installation and troubleshooting of lubrication, hydraulic, pneumatic systems.
Basic PLC programming knowledge.
Basic variable speed drives installation, programming parameters and troubleshooting.
Basic computer skills for work programs.
Able to read blueprints and schematics.
Experience with shop equipment (welding equipment, brakes, mills, etc.).
Knowledge of IATF16949 and ISO14001 requirements.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair manufacturing electrical systems.
Minimize downtime using corrective and preventive electrical methods.
Maintain Decorah’s manufacturing equipment, facilities and property.
Fabricate, rebuild, design and install electrical systems and schematics.
Operate and maintain shop equipment and diagnostic tools.
Document completed repairs.
Follow safe work practices and maintain facility access control, fire alarm, and emergency systems.
Overtime as needed.
