Job summary

PMX Industries in Cedar Rapids, IA is hiring skilled Industrial Electricians to join our team. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical and electro-mechanical equipment, work with PLCs and control systems, and participate in preventive maintenance.

We offer day-one benefits, paid training, and a schedule of 12-hour night shifts with overtime as needed; starting pay up to $37.35/hour, with potential to reach $39.40/hour in your first year, plus a night shift differential

Qualifications

• Two-year electrical degree or equivalent industrial electrical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to rotate 12-hour night shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical and electro-mechanical equipment
• Work with PLCs, AC/DC drives, motors, instrumentation, and control systems
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
• Follow Lock Out/Tag Out and other safety procedures
• Support plant reliability and continuous improvement efforts
