Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for Decorah, IA, on first shift (7:00am–3:00pm). You will support manufacturing electrical systems, minimize downtime, and maintain equipment and facilities.

The role requires a 2-year Industrial Electrician degree or equivalent, Journeyman license, and PLC, motor control, and mechanical troubleshooting skills. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits within a global leader.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
2-year Industrial Electrician Tech degree or equivalent experience.
Journeyman license.
AC/DC motor control installation and troubleshooting.
Mechanical installation and troubleshooting of oil lubrication, hydraulic, pneumatic systems.
Basic PLC programming knowledge.
Basic variable speed drives installation, programming parameters and troubleshooting.
Basic computer skills for work software.
Reading and using blueprints and schematics.
Operation of shop equipment (welding, brakes, mills, drills, lathes, grinders).
Knowledge of IATF16949 and ISO14001 requirements.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems to minimize downtime.
Install, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment with electrical techniques.
Maintain facility equipment and systems.
Complete preventive and corrective repairs.
Fabricate, rebuild, design and install electrical systems and schematics.
Document completed repairs.
Follow safe work practices and procedures.
Maintain facility access control, fire alarm, emergency lighting and battery backup systems.
All other duties as assigned; overtime as needed.
