Job summary

NOW Foods is seeking an Manufacturing Maintenance Electrician I (1st shift) at the Bloomingdale, IL facility. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across manufacturing machinery and plant equipment to support safety, quality, and reliability.

You will troubleshoot Dematic and AS/RS systems, work with project teams, and ensure compliance with electrical codes. Strong preference for experienced electricians with applicable trade certification.

Qualifications

• 10+ years related electrical maintenance or electrician experience and/or training
• Electrical trade school/certification strongly preferred
• Knowledge of AC power from 480V to 120V and DC power 12–24V
• Knowledge of control systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Plans layout and installs wiring, conduit and electrical equipment in buildings.
• Troubleshoots Dematic conveying and ASRS systems.
• Supports project planning and equipment purchases; installs power wiring and distribution devices.
• Uses electrical drawings to diagnose malfunctioning devices and replaces faulty components.
• Ensures plant electrical activities comply with applicable electrical codes.
