Job summary

Tower Lodge Care Center in New Jersey seeks an experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the daily operations of the Maintenance Department, ensuring building systems are safe, compliant, and well-maintained for residents, staff, and visitors.

This role requires at least 2 years of supervisory healthcare experience and strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and safety codes. Competitive pay with benefits including 401(k), health insurance, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in healthcare, long-term care, or similar facility.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance procedures, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Working knowledge of safety regulations, fire codes, and federal, state, and local building codes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and lead the daily activities of the Maintenance Department.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for building systems and equipment.
• Perform and oversee general maintenance and repairs, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of the building, grounds, and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and equipment logs.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.
