Job summary

Clearwater Highland Park, a premier senior living community in Dallas, TX, seeks a Maintenance Director to oversee the physical plant, grounds, and living spaces for residents and staff. The role includes supervising the Environmental Services department, managing budgets, ensuring safety standards, and coordinating maintenance with vendors.

Qualifications include AA or Bachelor’s, 5–7 years in maintenance within senior living or related fields, and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• AA degree or higher preferred.
• Five to seven years of maintenance experience in senior living, property management, or related field.
• Two to three years of supervisory experience.
• First Aid Certification preferred.
• Background clearances as required by regulations.
• TB health requirements and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect property grounds and equipment daily and ensure operability.
• Supervise Environmental Services staff and ensure safe, presentable spaces.
• Develop, plan, and direct the Environmental Services department and budget.
• Coordinate maintenance requests, bids, and vendor scheduling for projects.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA policies and safety procedures.
• Monitor inventory, expenditures, and cost-saving opportunities.
