Job summary

Clearwater Living is seeking a Maintenance Director for the The Heights community in Houston. The role oversees the physical plant, grounds, and environmental services, ensuring all areas are functional, clean, safe, and presentable for residents and visitors.

Responsibilities include supervising the Environmental Services department, managing budgets, coordinating with vendors, and enforcing safety and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced luxury senior living environment.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills across building systems.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and schematics.
• Excellent communication and guest/resident service orientation.
• Proficient with common office software and maintenance recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of property grounds, buildings, and equipment to ensure operability and safety.
• Supervise Environmental Services staff and manage scheduling and performance.
• Develop and implement maintenance programs, processes, and safety standards.
• Manage budget, inventory, and vendor relationships for repairs and projects.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and document activity for compliance and audits.
