Genesis HealthCare in Sandia Heights, NM seeks a Maintenance Director to ensure safe, well-maintained surroundings for residents and staff. You will lead the maintenance team and report to the Nursing Home Administrator.

The role requires knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVACR, and strong supervisory experience, plus on-call availability to address emergencies 24/7. Join us to support quality care and facility compliance.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent is required.
• Basic training/knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVACR systems is required.
• Prior supervisory experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Repairs electrical, plumbing, heating, and cooling systems.
• Supervise the maintenance department and orient new staff.
• Maintain fire alarm and emergency generator systems to minimize risk.
• Maintain records and reports and assist with budget planning.
• On-call for emergencies seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day.
• Operate on the TELS platform for Life Safety, regulatory and daily tasks.
