Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking a Maintenance Director experienced in life safety inspections to lead the maintenance department at our center. The role focuses on supervision, HVAC maintenance, and ensuring environmental center compliance with federal, state, and local codes and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will coordinate services, manage preventive maintenance, and document activities to keep facilities safe, clean, and well-maintained.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising environmental services and maintenance operations.
• Familiarity with Federal, State, and Local regulations and building codes.
• Strong emphasis on safety, sanitation, and repairs within healthcare/center environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Environmental Services personnel and daily work to optimize service levels and manage budgets.
• Implements the preventive maintenance program and keeps records to maintain high facility function.
• Maintains comprehensive records of maintenance activities, parts, and fuel supplies.
• Performs routine maintenance and repairs in compliance with regulations and codes.
• Collaborates with residents, nurses, physicians, and staff to address environmental service requests and infection prevention.
