Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking a Maintenance Director for a life safety and facility maintenance-focused role in a Texas center. The candidate will supervise the maintenance department, ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local codes, and oversee preventive maintenance and environmental services to maintain sanitary and attractive conditions.

The role requires experience in life safety inspections, HVAC and general maintenance, and strong coordination with residents,

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping/maintenance procedures.
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Environmental Services personnel and daily work to optimize service levels while controlling budgets, staffing and interdepartmental issues.
• Executes preventive maintenance program and record keeping to keep the center in top physical condition.
• Maintains complete documentation of maintenance activities, including replacement parts and materials used; keeps fuel supply records.
