Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the environmental services and maintenance operations within a healthcare center. You will supervise staff, ensure preventive maintenance, and maintain accurate records of parts and fuel usage.

The role requires knowledge of laundry/housekeeping/maintenance practices and experience in a healthcare or long-term care environment. HVAC and facility coordination experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• One to two years of supervisory experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping/maintenance procedures.
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in long-term care preferred.
• HVAC experience.
• Maintenance experience.
• Healthcare experience preferred but can be trained if needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Environmental Services personnel and daily work in assigned areas with effective cost and staffing control.
• Executes preventive maintenance program and records to keep the center in good physical condition.
• Maintains center documentation of maintenance activities and parts used; tracks fuel supplies.
• Performs routine maintenance and repairs per applicable regulations and codes.
• Coordinates with residents, nurses, physicians and staff on environmental service requests and infection prevention.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
