Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the environmental services and maintenance team at a healthcare center in Fort Worth, TX. You will ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations while maintaining sanitary, attractive facilities.

The role involves supervising staff, coordinating preventive maintenance, keeping detailed records, and working with residents and clinicians to resolve service requests and infection prevention concerns.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a commercial setting with laundry/housekeeping/maintenance knowledge.
• Minimum 2 years work experience in long-term care preferred.
• HVAC experience.
• Maintenance experience.
• Healthcare experience preferred but can be trained if needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Environmental Services personnel and daily work to enhance service levels while controlling budgets and staff issues.
• Executes preventive maintenance program and record keeping to keep the center at peak condition.
• Maintains center profile and plant history with complete maintenance documentation and fuel records.
• Performs routine maintenance and repairs in compliance with laws and codes.
• Collaborates with residents, nurses, physicians and staff on environmental requests and infection prevention; follows up with requesting departments.
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned at any time.
