Job summary

CWS Apartment Homes is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead a maintenance team and oversee the physical condition of the community, ensuring resident satisfaction. You will manage make-readies, service requests, inventories, safety programs, and preventative maintenance while coordinating with residents, vendors, and leadership.

The role requires supervisory skills, a strong trades background, and ability to travel within metropolitan areas as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• EPA, HVAC I & II, CPO and local certifications are required.
• Minimum 2–4 years in apartment maintenance or related trades.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.
• Own a basic set of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team members.
• Embrace, engage, motivate and train team members.
• Prepare make-ready apartments.
• Complete service requests.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Perform common area maintenance.
• Lead preventative maintenance program.
• Participate in resident satisfaction programs.
• Communicate with residents, investors, vendors, leadership, and CWS team.
• Lead and participate in CWS Risk Management and Safety Programs.
