Job summary

Genesis Administrative Services LLC is seeking a Maintenance Director to ensure safe, well-maintained surroundings for patients and residents. The role reports to the Nursing Home Administrator and manages the maintenance team to uphold regulatory and safety standards.

Responsibilities include supervising maintenance operations, handling repairs across systems, and maintaining life-safety programs. On-call emergencies are required, with duties on the TELS platform for daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Basic training/knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVACR systems.
• Prior supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Repairs electrical, plumbing, heating, and cooling systems
• Provides overall supervision of the maintenance department; including orientation for new staff.
• Maintains fire alarm and emergency generator systems to minimize the potential for fire and accidents
• Maintains required records and reports; performs budget planning
• Remains on-call for emergencies seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day
• Operates on the TELS platform for all Life Safety, regulatory and daily tasks
