Job summary

Champion City Nursing & Rehabilitation in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a skilled Maintenance Director to oversee the upkeep of our facilities and ensure safe, compliant operations. This is a full-time, on-site role with a competitive salary and benefits.

You will lead a maintenance team, develop and implement plans, coordinate with other departments, and deliver reliable service to residents and staff.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum as a maintenance director or supervisor in a healthcare setting.
• Strong leadership and management abilities to motivate and direct a team.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance of all facility systems including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry.
• Develop and implement a maintenance plan to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with housekeeping, dietary, and nursing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
• Manage and train a team of maintenance technicians and staff.
• Collaborate with facility management to ensure safety and emergency procedures.
• Perform routine inspections to identify hazards and needs.
