Job summary

Harmony Marshalltown is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee the facility and grounds in our skilled nursing environment. You will supervise all aspects of the maintenance department and ensure safety codes are met to provide a comfortable and secure living setting for residents.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, 3 years in facility maintenance, and 5 years of Maintenance Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility; an Associate’s degree in Construction

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five (5) years of prior Maintenance Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting preferred.
• Three (3) years of experience in a facility maintenance capacity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise all aspects of the maintenance department.
• Ensure the facility and grounds meet safety codes and regulations.
• Monitor and follow maintenance schedules for equipment and systems.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable environment for residents.
