Job summary

Harmony Marshalltown is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance department and ensure the safety and comfort of residents in a skilled nursing facility. You will manage the facility upkeep, oversee grounds, and supervise the maintenance team to uphold high standards of care.

The role requires a minimum of a high school diploma with several years in maintenance leadership; a preferred associate degree in Construction Technology or related field.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of maintenance director experience in Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferred.
• Three years of experience in facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Director you are critical in maintaining all internal and external aspects of the facility and grounds. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Harmony Marshalltown by overseeing and supervising all aspects of the maintenance department, ensuring the facility and grounds meet all related safety codes and ensuring that equipment and systems maintenance schedules are monitored and followed. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent and three (3) years of experience working in a facility maintenance capacity. Five (5) years of prior Maintenance Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting and an associate's degree in Construction Technology or similar field is preferable.
